The Seminole Vision was initiated in 1996 as a public-private collaborative with over 100 volunteer community leaders. This inclusive effort began as an initiative dedicated to excellence, prosperity, and quality of life for all. In 2003, the Seminole Vision merged with Leadership Seminole to further its mission to engage community stakeholders as equal voices in dialogue consensus and action.
In February, we will bring together the top influencers, strategic thinkers, and key stakeholder groups in our area for Leadership Seminole’s sixth community visioning process. We are inviting leaders from city and county government, business, economic development, education, healthcare, transportation, public safety, tourism, human services, and the arts for this conversation.
With the support of the Seminole County Commission, the Leadership Seminole Board of Directors will host the next conference on February 16th at The Lake Mary Events Center. Jonathan Parker, Certified Leadership Coach, will guide this conversation. The program begins at 8:00am and ends at 2:30pm with breakfast and lunch included.
Meetings and conferences usually generate reports, most of which end up sitting on a shelf. The Leadership Seminole Board is committed to moving the ideas and suggestions generated at the Vision event into real community improvement. The Board will establish an accountability process designed to encourage and track results; results that will address real needs of the people of Seminole County.
Vision VI is an opportunity to achieve community consensus and develop a strategic community action plan to address the challenges and opportunities facing Seminole County.
The 2023 VISION VI is presented by Seminole County Government with support from JP Morgan Chase and Orlando Health and participation from Duke Energy, Florida Blue Medicare, HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, M Paul General Contractors and Orlando Sanford Regional Airport.
